Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 (10 oz) can refried beans
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, chopped green onions, sliced olives

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Drain the fat and stir in taco seasoning. Cook for 2 more minutes.
  3. In a bowl, mix the refried beans and salsa until smooth.
  4. Place a wonton wrapper in each muffin cup. Layer with 1 tbsp of the bean mixture, 1 tbsp taco meat, and a sprinkle of cheese.
  5. Add another wonton wrapper on top and repeat the layers: beans, meat, and cheese.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the edges are golden and crispy.
  7. Let them cool for a few minutes. Top with sour cream, green onions, or olives if desired.
