Ingredients

  • 4 boneless pork chops, 1-inch thick
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. This helps the seasoning stick and creates a nice crust.
  2. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and cayenne if using.
  3. Rub both sides of each pork chop with olive oil, then coat generously with the seasoning blend.
  4. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chops and sear for 3–4 minutes per side.
  5. While the chops cook, whisk together Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, honey, and mustard in a small bowl.
  6. Reduce heat to medium-low. Pour the sauce mixture over the chops and cook for another 6–8 minutes, spooning the sauce over the top as it thickens.
  7. Remove from heat once the internal temperature hits 145°F (63°C). Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
